This is a small chicken egg that I did the Design for a chicken and wheat on. I really love this color combination and these motifs! The Symbol of the rooster in traditional Pysanky is used to symbolize good fortune and the coming of the dawn. Birds in general are used to symbolize Fulfillment of Wishes, Messengers of the Sun & Heaven, Pushing away of evil, Fertility and Good Harvest and as harbingers of spring. Added some liquid gold leaf to make this one shine!
